Siegwerk is looking for a high energy, experienced sales individual who is interested in growing into a Regional Sales Manager role.

Remote/Hybrid in Morganton, NC / Chicago, Illinois.

The successful candidate for this role must be willing to live in the Chicago or similar area within the next 2-3 years. In the short term, this position will be an individual contributor role that will develop into a Regional Sales Manager role with direct reports in the next 2-3 years.

Organization Situation:

  • Reports to: BU Head and on BU Leadership Team
  • Management Experience to lead to Managing a Team

Key Characteristics/Competencies

  • Effective at establishing and leading a structured sales process
  • Commands in-depth product and market knowledge; capable of recognizing market trends and analyzing competitive situations
  • Expert in value-based selling techniques and complex negotiations
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce.com CRM platform
  • Operates with a high degree of autonomy and initiative; capable of organizing cross-functional resources to address customer needs
  • Basic working knowledge of flexographic printing press operation Flexo or Roto to include: (a) printing station configuration and mechanical function of each component; (b) ability to recognize basic printing problems; (c) understands basic printing terminology.
  • Basic understanding of press side fluid ink handling to include: (a) viscosity importance and measuring tools; (b) water and solvent base mechanical handling; (c) comprehension of basic chemistry differences between water base and solvent base ink systems.
  • Basic understanding of major substrates and their basic end use to include different types of paper, polyethylene, polyesters and their marketing end use.
  • Understand color and color theory.
  • Ability to Travel up to 50%
  • Potential to relocate to further career
  • Key Account Management Experience

Core Responsibilities

  • Execution of local support activities of all accounts
  • Developing and maintaining customer relationships in plant management and senior procurement
  • Coordinating with other OFC departments to provide superior customer support
  • Developing sales talent pipeline

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Account mapping, strategy development & execution for growth
  • Sales enablement projects
  • Cross-functional team participation focused on optimizing service model

Success Measures

  • Customer profitability (Gross Margin, less in-house expenses)
  • Volume growth
  • Pipeline generation
  • Contract favorability

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required. Business or technical degree preferred.
  • 5-10 years of B2B selling experience
  • 5+ years sales team leadership
  • Superior organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong MS Office Suite skills
  • Highly skilled in CRM software [please apply online]
